Hi! Lovely to meet you.

I’m Florencia

I’m from Argentina. I moved to Cumbria to find a warm and welcoming community here, and I’m grateful to call this place home. I believe we all deserve to feel at home—not just in a place, but in our own bodies. That’s why I teach yoga. Because I know what it’s like to feel disconnected, restless, or uncomfortable in my own skin. And when I discovered the relief of finding stillness, ease, and presence through movement, I realised that I want more people to feel this way.

I’m a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, having trained in both Argentina and the UK. My approach to teaching is simple: to guide you through movement in a way that feels natural, accessible, and steady—so that yoga meets you exactly where you are. Whether it’s your first time on the mat or you’ve been practicing for years, every class is an opportunity to explore. Because when you really think about it, how could connecting with your own Self not be interesting and exciting?

If you’re curious, I’d love for you to join me.

What to expect in class

My classes are designed to help you build your practice from the ground up. We start with the foundations—learning the essential yoga poses, the rhythm of Sun Salutations, and the art of moving with awareness. Expect a blend of structure and creativity, as we explore movement in all planes, bringing fluidity and ease into the body.

Each class follows a steady rhythm:

  • A grounding moment to arrive and settle.

  • A gentle warm-up to prepare the body.

  • A thoughtfully designed sequence that may include Sun Salutations, standing and seated postures, balance work, and movements that explore all the directions of the spine.

  • A cooling down phase to bring the body into stillness.

  • A final relaxation, allowing the practice to settle.

Every month, we work with a new intention, creating space to connect with ourselves in different ways. You’ll notice a balance of repetition and novelty—revisiting familiar movements to build confidence while also inviting curiosity through fresh variations. This approach helps expand our comfort zones, strengthen our movement patterns, and cultivate a deeper awareness of our bodies.

There will always be options to modify or challenge yourself, and you are encouraged to listen to what feels right for you each day.

Classes take place at a private gym in Carleton and are limited to 8-10 people, ensuring a welcoming and personal space. Spots must be reserved in advance. You're welcome to bring your own yoga mat—though some are available on a first-come, first-served basis—as well as a water bottle and a blanket for relaxation.

I look forward to sharing this space with you.
